Mary Made Art Octo Bags Thread Sketching

collars

The perfect complement to any outfit! I wanted a way to make essentially a “tentacle necklace” based these gorgeous collars off of a neck corset pattern. It’s a fun way to dress something up using fiber art (plus, the 3D effect of these is really something to behold).

threadsketching

Paper to fabric magic; I bring your vision to life in fiber art with my unique, free-motion stitchwork. Bugs, skulls, sayings, flowers, pretty much anything that I can draw I’m willing to make a threadsketch of it.

octocowls & octoscarves

The most laborious of my art, the octocowls & octoscarves are what got me the “her art is worth the wait” love from my commissions. From fabric and thread colors to twists and suckers, no two of these pieces of art will ever be alike.

masks

Mask up in octo style. These three-layer, fitted masks feature a metal nosepiece and elastic ear loops.

wall art

Adorn your walls with custom threadsketches. Each piece is framed before shipping to ensure that it’s properly mounted in its frame.

F.A.Q.

Some of my most frequently asked questions are below. If you have a question that isn’t answered below, feel free to drop me an email and I’ll be happy to answer!

Because I do have a full-time job and a family, my waitlist times vary quite a bit. To get on the waitlist, please fill out the commission info and I’ll contact you for confirmation and a deposit (payment accepted via PayPal, Venmo, and CashApp).

Absolutely! Please note that if you’re ordering something I’ve never made before, it will extend the wait time as I start with a full mock-up to ensure that you’re getting a piece of art that represents your vision.

I do not sell my art as patches. Part of my stitchwork includes attaching it to the final fabric, so patches don’t currently fit my work style.

There are a lot of factors to take into consideration for this and I will review these requests on a case-by-case basis.
